So where did it all start? Well, TattooedNow! had its origins in 2011 on the film set of a Shakespeare play. This was Coriolanus, the first movie directed by Oscar-winning actor Ralph Fiennes.
Among the crew was Daniel Parker, already hugely respected in the industry for his make-up work on films and TV shows including The Hurt Locker, Band Of Brothers and The Last Samurai. Fiennes’s version of Coriolanus needed tattoos. Hundreds of them. Far too many for one person to cope with.Shooting was taking place in Serbia and Daniel found a couple of local graphic designers, Igor and Nikola, and taught them how he wanted his artwork created. The results looked great – and 18 months later Igor got in touch with Daniel and suggested setting up a temporary tattoo company.
Ever since then the trio have been working together as a team of three co-founders. They have offices in both Serbia and the UK – and they also have a growing reputation as the go-to guys for movie makers and TV producers who need tattoos that look exactly like the real thing.
